After Lunch (12:30-1:00 PM)

Help children transition from break time back to focused afternoon learning

Transition Times

Quick 8-10 minute circuits between subjects or activities

As Needed

When you notice low energy, restlessness, or difficulty focusing

Quick Start Guide
Follow these steps to implement sensory circuits in your classroom
1

Choose a Pre-designed Circuit or Create Your Own

Start with our "Morning Energiser" circuit or use the circuit builder to customize activities for your group's needs

2

Gather Equipment & Set Up Space

Most circuits require minimal equipment. Set up stations in a hall, gym, or even classroom with furniture moved aside

3

Explain the Three Phases

Use child-friendly language: "First we wake up our bodies, then we help our brains focus, then we get calm and ready to learn"

4

Run Through the Circuit

Guide children through each phase, typically 4-6 minutes per phase. Demonstrate activities and provide encouragement

5

Observe & Adapt

Notice how children respond and adjust activities, timing, or intensity to meet their needs. Some may need longer calm phases

6

Make it Routine

Implement circuits at consistent times daily. Children will quickly learn the routine and look forward to it
